Corn Art

The following are examples of corn art that can be found at our farm store and on our shop at Etsy:

• Large Square Indian Corn Wreath

  Indian corn wreath made with our home grown natural large Indian corn. This natural wreath is made from Indian corn that we grow on our farm in central New Jersey. The wreath is approximately 22 inches across and is about 3 inches thick. I fill each frame with corn husks (to hide the frame work) and then I wire each piece of corn to the wreath frame. Each piece of corn is wired at both the bottom and top of the cob to hold the corn securely to the wire frame. The finished wreath contains 16 to 20 pieces of large multicolored corn that are approximately 6 inches to 9 inches in length. A piece of miniature Indian corn is added at each of the corners to both hide the frame and to accent the wreath. Each wreath is unique and the wreath that you receive will be somewhat different than the photo due to the natural variation in Indian corn color from piece to piece.

The wreath is approximately 22 inches in diameter and is about 3 inches thick. I fill each frame with corn husks (to hide the frame work) and then I wire each piece of corn to the wreath frame. The finished wreath contains 10 to 14 pieces of multicolored corn. Each piece of corn that is used in this wreath is approximately 7 inches to 9 inches in length. Each wreath is unique and the wreath that you receive will be somewhat different than the photo due to the natural variation in Indian corn color from piece to piece.

• Mini Indian Corn

  Five (5) pieces of Indian corn with corn husks. These ears are 4 inches to 6 inches in length and are assorted colors and multiple colors. You will be sent an assortment similar to the corn in the photos. This corn is perfect for mixing in fall arrangements and for adding to wreaths, swags and decorations. I mix this corn with gourds and sell the arrangements at craft shows. This corn was grown by us on our farm in central New Jersey and was harvested in August and September 2014. This listing is for corn only, basket not included.
• Autumn Indian Corn Wreath, Halloween wreath

  Indian corn wreath made with our home grown natural miniature Indian corn. This natural wreath is made from miniature Indian corn that we grow on our farm in central New Jersey. The wreath is approximately 17 inches in diameter and is about 3 inches thick. I fill each frame with corn husks (to hide the frame work) and then I wire each piece of corn to the wreath frame. Each piece of corn is wired at both the bottom and top of the cob so that it is firmly secured to the wire frame. The finished wreath contains 12 to 15 pieces of multicolored corn. The miniature corn that is used in this wreath is 5 inches to 7 inches in length. Each wreath is unique and the wreath that you receive will be somewhat different than the photo due to the natural variation in Indian corn color from piece to piece.
