Gingerbread Man Candy Cane Holder
Serve your holiday candy canes in style with this wooden gingerbread man candy cane holder. This candy cane holder is approximately 12 inches tall and is 7.5 inches wide at the arms. The gingerbread man is firmly anchored to a white base that is 7 inches wide and 3 inches deep. He's made from 3/4 inch pine and holds a wood dowel rod for the candy canes. All of the painting was done with acrylic paints and the finished candy cane holder was sealed with polyurethane.
Candy canes are not included. -
Twelve (12) dog inspired wood gift tags, rustic wood tags, dog decoration
Decorate your gifts with these rustic wood tags. These tags are cut from tree branches that came down on our farm during Hurricane Sandy. These branches are cut into rounds, drilled for the tie, sanded smooth on each side and hand stamped on one side with acid free, nontoxic ink. The back of this wood tag is left blank so you can add your own personal message with a felt tipped pen. Each tag is unique in shape and range from 2 inches to 2.75 inches in diameter and approximately 3/8 inch thick.

Forget-me-not flower seed package wood plaque
Let this natural wood slab plaque brighten your home and your thoughts with it's cheery forget-me-not flowers and message. This hand painted basswood oval plaque is approximately 11 inches long, 9 inches wide and 3/4 inch thick. A metal saw tooth hanger is on the back of the plaque for easy hanging. This plaque is painted with acrylic paint and sealed with polyurethane.
Some of my customers have used this plaque as a farewell gift for friends moving out of state. They added their own unique message to the back or along the side of the plaque to personalize their gift. -
Wood slice trivet, natural oak wood trivet, hot pad
This lovely wooden trivet is made from slices from an oak tree that came down on our farm during a storm. The tree trunk was cut into round slices, sanded, and lightly stained to bring out the beautiful wood grain. Smaller wood slices were glued to a larger wood slice to increase the size of this trivet and to add dimension and character to the piece. The trivet was finished with two coats of tung oil for added protection and a piece of black felt was glued to the back of the trivet to protect your counter tops and furniture. A gold eye hook and cord loop were added to the top of this trivet to make it easy to hang for storage. The trivet is approximately 8 inches long, 7 inches wide and 1 inch thick.
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water or wash in a dishwasher.

Rustic 13" log slice lazy susan, cake stand turntable, cupcake stand
Large rustic wood slice turntable perfect for a cake stand, your kitchen or family room. The top of this lazy susan is made from wood harvested from our farm in central New Jersey. The wood slices are a mixture of hardwoods which vary but can include oak, sassafrass, maple and gum wood. The slices are glued to a larger wood round that was also harvested from our forest. All of these pieces of wood were sanded and stained to bring out the beautiful grain of the woods and then finished with a coat of polyurethane. The base was cut from an oak log and a 9 inch lazy susan mechanism was firmly attached to both the base and the top of this piece. This piece is approximately:

Each lazy susan is a one of a kind piece due to the variation in wood slices. The lazy susan that you will receive will be very similar to the one pictured but will vary in shape and size. Rustic Wooden Birdhouse, natural wood birdhouse, primitive log birdhouse
This rustic wood birdhouse is a great addition to any yard, garden , fence or favorite space. The entrance hole is approximately 1.25 inches wide and is perfect for chickadees, wrens, sparrows, titmice, and many other birds.
The wood for this birdhouse was cut from a sassafras tree that came down during a storm on our farm in central New Jersey. The slab wood cuts were used to make the front and roof of this lovely natural birdhouse while the sassafras planks were used for the back, sides and bottom of this birdhouse. The bark was left on the planks to add to the natural look of the wood. The bottom of the birdhouse was drilled with drainage holes and hinged for easy clean out. A sturdy mounting eye is installed on the top of the birdhouse for easy hanging. Two holes are also drilled in the back of the birdhouse if you want to nail the birdhouse to a fence or tree.
The birdhouse is approximately 11 inches high, 9 inches deep (measuring along the roof to the back of the birdhouse) and is about 6 inches wide. Each birdhouse is unique and will vary slightly in size and shape. -
Good Food, Wine, Friends Wood Cutting Board
This sunny hand painted wood cutting board will brighten up any corner of your home and greet your friends with tidings of "Buon Cibo, Buon Vino, Buoni Amici" (Good Food, Good Wine, Good Friends). Each cutting board is approximately 7 inches wide, 14 inches long and 3/4 inch thick. A hole is drilled in the handle and threaded with a cord for easy hanging. The board is painted with acrylic paint and sealed with polyurethane. -
Rustic Mason Jar Wall Hanger Planter
This rustic mason jar wall hanger planter is a perfect way to organize your favorite room, hold your herb and flower plants, or store your kitchen utensils. The wood plank is from our farm in central New Jersey and was cut from a sassafras tree that came down during a storm. The sassafras plank was sanded and lightly stained to bring out the beautiful wood grain and was then finished with a light coat of polyurethane. The sassafras bark was left on each plank to give the plank a country, rustic look. Blue pint size Ball mason jars were secured to the wood with metal clamps and a saw tooth hanging bracket was added to the back.
No two planks are exactly alike and each rustic planter/organizer will vary slightly in size and shape. The size of the piece will be approximately 14 inches long by 6 inches tall by 4 inches wide.
Each rustic planter/organizer has 3 blue pint mason jars. Use as a planter or vase for fresh cut flowers or for organizing your office, kitchen, bathroom or favorite room! -
Rustic Log Dog, Wooden dog, Natural wood dog
Handmade log dog made from hardwood trees harvested on our farm in central New Jersey. This adorable dog is approximately 15 inches tall, 13 inches long and 6 inches wide. The hand painted Welcome sign is included with each log dog.
Each log dog is made from hardwood trees that are harvested as part of the woodland management plan for our farm. The dogs are made from several types of wood (oak, maple, gum and/or sassafrass) and the wood used will vary from dog to dog. Each dog will be slightly different since each tree is unique.
The shipping for log dog is calculated based on shipping USPS to the west coast from New Jersey. Please contact me with your zip code and I would be happy to calculate shipping based on your zip code. Also, please contact me if you are interested in purchasing two or more log dogs and I will work with you to find the least expensive way to ship the dogs to you. -
Rustic ring box, wedding ring box, tree slice box, trinket box
Rustic ring box made from trees harvested on our farm in central New Jersey. This box is perfect as a proposal ring box, for the ring bearer to carry or to keep your rings safe on your nightstand or by the kitchen sink.
Each box is approximately 3 inches tall and about 3 inches in diameter. The hole inside the box has a diameter of 1.5 inches. The lid swivels 360 degrees, on a point made nearly invisible by a wooden metal screw. The wood has been sanded, lightly stained and sealed for protection and to bring out the natural grain and beauty in the wood. Due to the handmade nature of this item and the natural characteristics of wood, the item you receive may be slightly different than what is pictured in the listing- which makes your piece completely unique! -
Rustic mason jar hanger planter
Rustic mason jar wall hanging that can be used for holding fresh, cut or dried flowers, kitchen or workroom supplies, or as a wall scone! This wall hanging is made from an antique blue quart mason jar and a sassafras wood plank. The sassafras plank was cut from a tree harvested on our farm. The plank was sanded and lightly stained to bring out the beautiful, natural grain of the wood. A saw tooth metal hanger has been attached to the back of the plank for mounting.
The Ball canning jar is mounted to the sassafras plank with a metal clamp. Ball canning jars can be roughly dated by their logos since the Ball Manufacturing Company changed their logo many times. Based on the Ball logo, this blue canning jar was probably made between 1910 and 1923. I got this jar from my mother and used it for canning our garden produce for many years. I'm downsizing my canning jar collection and felt it would complement the natural beauty of the sassafras wood.
This mason jar wall hanging is approximately 13 inches long, 4 inches wide and 5 inches deep (measured from the front of the canning jar to the back of the wood plank). -
Rustic candle holders
Rustic log candle holders made from trees harvested from our farm in central New Jersey. These holders are drilled to hold two 1.5 inch tea light or votive candles. Two tea light candles are included with each holder and these can easily be replaced with fresh tealights after burning. Each holder is unique and is approximately 3 inches high and 3.5 to 4 inches in diameter. The natural bark is left on each holder to add to the natural beauty.
This listing is for two (2) candle holders. You will receive two 2-candle candle holders with tea lights when you order. Due to the handmade nature of this item and the natural characteristics of wood, the holders you receive will be slightly different than what is pictured in this listing- which makes your candle holders completely unique! -
Pallet wine rack, magazine rack, kitchen shelf, pallet shelf
This pallet shelf can be used to hold wine bottles, books, knick-knacks, or other household items. This shelf was made from a small wood pallet that I cut in half, sanded, and stained. I added two metal lynch pins to the front of the shelf and used bronze colored screws to contrast with the stained wood. The shelf measures approximately 21.5 inches wide, 12 inches tall, and 6 inches wide.
